| At the end of 2014 year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed Federal Low ¹ 242 that demands to move all personal data of Russian citizens to data centers located on the territory of the Russian Federation. What should cloud developers do if now they process Russian personal data in Microsoft Azure which do not have any data centers in Russia? The speaker will share with you information about Microsoft’s initiative Cloud OS Network (COSN) that is already adapted for Russia and about Azure Pack that can be deployed by Russian service providers to allow using mature Azure technologies and development tools in Russian data centers to comply the low and to move cloud services and data from the global Azure to Russia. Russian providers who already joined to the initiative will be listed. |
