ISDEF (Independent Software Developers Forum) 2006 – the fifth international conference devoted to software development and marketing issues. This year the conference took place October 5–8 at the Holiday Inn Moscow Sokolniki.
ISDEF conferences become one of the high-profile international events. The previous ISDEF 2005 conference, which took place in the Holiday Inn Vinogradovo, attracted over 500 participants, including small independent software developers as well as such international IT giants as Digital River, Google and Microsoft. Recognizing the ever-growing popularity of the conference, it was decided to host this year’s event in the heart of Moscow city in spacious Holiday Inn Moscow Sokolniki.
The free seminar ISDEF-Start took place on October 5, on the first day of the ISDEF 2006 conference. Such a seminar is being held within the framework of the ISDEF conference for the first time. Its basic aim is to provide support for young Russian software developers. In the course of the seminar representatives from successful software companies will share their expertise with colleagues who are just starting out in the business.
